Part of the Hidden Chaos collection, Anguish and Haven is in honour of Larissa and Saskia. Created with acrylic paint, stitching, and bi-carb soda, Anguish and Haven explores the quie strength of individualism and the refuge found in one’s own space. Raw textures and abstract forms evoke emotional unrest, while subtle stitched figures reflect a journey toward self-containment and inner stability. This work honours the process of finding peace beyond external validation, and the steady presence of friends who offered support without judgement — not as saviours, but as companions through becoming.
